2017: The 131st Annual Meeting in Denver

Theme: Historical Scale: Linking Levels of Experience

The 131st annual meeting was held in Denver, Colorado, January 5-8, 2017, at the Colorado Convention Center, Hyatt Regency Denver, Sheraton Denver Downtown, Denver Marriott City Center, and the Grand Hyatt Denver. The theme was Historical Scale, Linking Levels of Experience. The meeting drew approximately 3.6K attendees; 50 affiliates participated; and the program featured close to 400 sessions. Patrick Manning gave the presidential address, entitled "Inequality: Historical and Disciplinary Approaches." Awards and honors for 2016 were given. The meeting featured two plenary sessions: "The First Hundred Days: Priorities for a New US President" (Thursday, January 5) and "Election 2016: How Did We Get Here and What Does It Mean?" (Saturday, January 7).
